Katie is a Balanced Body–trained Pilates teacher, 200‑hour yoga instructor, and Psychology graduate from UCF. She blends anatomy‑driven movement with somatic healing, helping clients build strength, alignment, and nervous‑system awareness. 

Mat Pilates classes are offered in two formats to meet you where you are. Mat Foundations builds clarity, strength, and confidence through intentional, well-paced movement, while Mat Flow offers a more dynamic, continuous practice for those ready to progress. Both classes emphasize precision, breath, and mindful strength.

Mat Foundations

Mat Foundations is a supportive, intelligently paced Pilates mat class designed to build a strong movement base. This class focuses on core stability, postural alignment, breath, and fundamental Pilates principles through controlled, intentional movement. Exercises are taught with clear instruction and thoughtful modifications, making this class ideal for those newer to Pilates, returning after time away, or seeking a slower, more detailed approach.

Small props may be used to enhance awareness, provide support, or reinforce proper mechanics.

This class emphasizes quality of movement, confidence, and understanding.

Mat Flow

Mat Flow is a dynamic Pilates mat class that builds upon foundational principles with more continuous sequencing and progressive challenge. This class emphasizes strength, control, coordination, and fluid transitions while maintaining precision and breath awareness.
Props may be incorporated to add challenge, variety, or support, allowing each participant to work at an appropriate level within the flow.

Expect a mindful yet energizing class that supports both strength and mobility.

Best for clients comfortable with basic Pilates mat work.
